Architect and Interiors India hosted the eighth episode in its webinar series on Designing for a New World – Post COVID-19, on November 18, 2020. Presented by CommScope India, the session centred on a discussion about how to design and build smart office campuses in the best possible way. Industry leaders put forth their views about the tips and tricks to keep in mind, while also deliberating on what the workplace of the future might be like.

The panel discussion was hosted by Indrajeet Saoji, director, ITP Media (India). The conversation started with an understanding of what constitutes a smart office in today’s context, while also covering the evolution of workplace design in India and adoption of smart office campuses. From using data & insights to optimise utilisation of office space to increasing connectivity, communication and collaboration between employees, and from harnessing technology to improve productivity, to prioritising employee safety, health & well-being, the panellists touched upon a variety of subjects. They also took questions from the audience, resulting in a valuable session for all the participants.
