Jaquar Group presents new Laguna Collection at ISH Frankfurt 2019

Designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez for the Jaquar Group, the new Laguna Collection uses water responsibly

Jaquar Group, a leading Indian manufacturer of ‘Complete Bathroom & Lighting Solutions’, marked its presence at the prestigious ISH Frankfurt in March this year. The world-renowned fair focuses on the responsible management of water and energy in buildings. On this significant stage, Jaquar Group announced the launch of the Laguna Collection designed by leading designers Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez for brand Jaquar.

Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez follow the same approach in terms of aesthetic, economic and technological sustainability as Jaquar. The bathroom collection is characterised by simplified shapes, warm colours and excellent material. It offers a variety of combinations and fuses minimalist design with direct functionality. Laguna includes a full range of sanitaryware, a variety of faucets, a frameless shower box, refined furniture and bath accessories. The series was developed within a period of more than two years, and is conceived for private and contract projects.

Rajesh Mehra, director, Jaquar Group, said, “We asked Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez to create something beautiful and, at the same time, very simple and flexible – a system that could cross differences between the markets, taking into consideration the issue of sustainability, awareness of the importance of preserving our planet, and also designing products that are able to respond to the needs of a very large audience.”

Designers Thun and Rodriguez, add, “Laguna gives Indians first-class craftsmanship, excellent knowhow in finishing, and a pure design language. Jaquar’s upscale quality transmits the spirit of a handmade product, but grants value for money.”

Jaquar Group also presented its newest systems, products and solutions, the result of continuous research, experimentation and technological innovation. The booth was designed by London’s Danelon Meroni Studio to highlight the bathing experience – focusing on the rich and complex emotions that people go through when they interact with the products designed exclusively for Jaquar and Artize.
