Ashfaque Ahmed has been contributing to the field of architecture and interior design for over two decades and is now recognised for his widely diversified portfolio of works in green architecture, and various tourism projects, especially wildlife tourism. He also has heritage and conservation projects to his credit. Ashfaque is passionate about working with nature and believes in the balance of the eco-system. So, experimenting with local materials and delivering an eco-friendly, sustainable design comes to him naturally. His vast experience has facilitated international collaborations with architects, wildlife, and tourism experts from different countries, which has given a new dimension to his firm. He has been awarded for his contribution to green architecture and tourism projects.
His firm has recently completed the Balasaheb Thackeray Gorewada International Zoological Park (FDCM, Nagpur), which is spread across 1914 Ha. It will have several tourist attractions like the Indian safari, the African safari, the Night Safari, Bio Park, Bird Park, and Nature Trails. They have also completed the Tadoba Vanyavillas Resort and Spa (ITC Group) at the Tadoba National Park, Maharashtra.
