One of the three founders, Mohammed excels at both strategic and detailed levels of designing and nurtures an extensive interest in interior and landscape design. When it comes to creating spaces, he is always trying to find new and unique ways to express quality living space, ones cherished by the homeowners. His project – Lucid House – transforms an urban context into an intimate and tranquil zone, bringing to life the homeowner’s idea of an escape from the hustle of routine. The luxurious but minimally designed home is a perfect picture of contemporary design with traditional flairs grounded in the client’s past.
I believe collective, responsible and unique deployment of architectural creativity can impact living experiences.
On Conscious Design
For Mohammed, sustainable design is one that does not disturb any major existing natural elements on the site. Retaining the cultural ethos, reducing manufactured materials and using breathable materials which aren’t impervious to the specific nature of the context is
others elements he incorporates – all serving the eventual purpose of making the design as unique to place and person as possible.
Looking Forward
To be able to design projects around the globe, and crafting landmarks that celebrate human-nature connectivity is what Mohammed dreams of. Sustainability means different things to different people, and he hopes to be able to tap into those individualized meanings for a series of unique takes on sustainable architecture in the future, with a vision of making other people’s lives better.
