Sonali Bhagwati, President; Sohrab Dalal, Founder Partner, Desinplus Architecture

One has heard her wisdom at many forums on urban resolutions and issues. And why not? Sonali has been practicing for 30 years since completing her graduation from CEPT, Ahmedabad. To be an architect was her passion since teenage years and Sonali treats her projects as her babies, constantly nourishing, loving and improvising. Every project is a new explorative journey for her, with the sole purpose being considerate to the aspiration of the inhabitants.

As for Sohrab Dalal, also an alumnus of CEPT, and the founder partner of Designplus Architecture, innovation creativity and energy are the cornerstones of his success. Designplus Architecture, earlier known as Spazzio, has several award-winning projects to its credit. Involved in master planning, architecture and interior design, the firm has worked on a range of projects – from commercial, retail, mixed use, institutional, to residential and hospitality. Sohrab’s project Taj Vivanta, Bengaluru, won the Singapore Institute of Architects’ Building of the Year Award and the LEAF Award in London in 2010.

The Hero MotoCorp Corporate Office at Two Horizon Centre in Gurgaon and the Learning Centre at Thapar University, Patiala, are two of their successfully executed recent projects.
