Exhibit 320 (19th July – 18th August 2024)

Exhibit 320, a leading contemporary art gallery founded by Rasika Kajaria, shines as a platform for new thoughts and ideas again with its upcoming art exhibition ‘Tales from the East: Embers, Echoes, and Stories of Shifting Earth.’ The upcoming art show, curated by Prayag Chakradhar, will spotlight the works of artists like Suryakant Swain, Sareena Khemka,  Ronny Sen, Mohd. Musa, and Ajay Chakradhar. The artwork will be on display for a month at the gallery. The exhibition features a diverse array of artworks that poignantly capture the essence of transient urban contours, the harsh realities of labor, and beauty that emerges from chaos. Through visual narratives, decaying objects, and landscapes, the artworks serve as a cerebral odyssey, drawing a vivid connection between past and present, navigating the intricate change, movement, and transformation.

Latitude 28 (31st July)

LATITUDE 28’s opening exhibition of the New Art Season, titled ‘Fragile,’ features three emerging contemporary female artists: Al-Qawi Nanavati, Purvi Sharma, and Dhola Shikder. The artworks of Dola have a strong sense of what she wants to convey through her art – the feminine experience of navigating the world and oneself, while Al-Qawi’s art ‘Letters to my Mother’ shows a huge loss of her mother has been akin to the experience of returning to nascence and starting from scratch on new forms of art-making.
