Shaw Contract has launched the first-of-its-kind India In Stock programme. The new initiative is designed to hold ready inventory so that India-based customers can explore a wide variety of Shaw Contract’s product collections and crunch the time needed to meet the rapid timelines of the Indian market.
To facilitate this in-stock programme, the company has set up a Duty Free Warehouse (FTWZ) in Chennai, along with Duty Paid Warehouses in Mumbai and Hyderabad. All the FTWZ transactions will be done in Indian rupees to avail duty benefits, and billing will be addressed to the company’s local legal entity: Shaw Floors India Pvt. Ltd. The India In Stock programme facilitates shorter lead times and lower freight costs for smaller quantities.
Shaw Contract has selected 62 colourways of its flooring design solutions for this programme. The selection is based on the latest trends and innovations in India’s design ecosystem.
The India In Stock programme covers both carpet tiles and hard surface product lines from Shaw Contract’s portfolio.
