Orientbell Tiles is moving towards their sustainability goal by stepping up to make the environment clean. In its latest initiative, Orientbell Tiles has teamed up with GAIL – India’s leading natural gas provider – to switch to the use of natural gas in making tiles at their Hoskote plant in Karnataka. This is also a step towards a cleaner environment.

This collaboration helps Orientbell Tiles to use 20,000 cubic metre of natural gas for tile manufacturing, bringing down the use of LPG (liquified petroleum gas) and the logistics attached to it.

Speaking on this collaboration, Anil Agarwal, COO, Orientbell Tiles, said, “With the ongoing climate change, it is our responsibility to help create a cleaner environment for future generations. Switching to natural gas to manufacture tiles is a small step towards a green environment.”

Orientbell Tiles is thus looking to create beautiful tiles in an environment-friendly way.
