Getting back to table meetings with Jobs Meeting Table by Poltrona Frau

In 1912, Renzo Frau founded Poltrona Frau in Turin, Italy. The century old, high-end Italian furniture brand Poltrona Frau designs and produces luxury sofas, armchairs, beds, storage units, cabinets, chairs, tables, furnishing accessories, and directional systems.

Jobs is an innovative executive system of desks, cabinets and meeting tables designed by Rodolfo Dordoni. It is the result of close reflection on the evolution of behaviour in relation to new technologies and a careful selection of materials, which enrich the different volumes with sober elegance and mark, also stylistically, the different work areas. The Jobs Meeting Tables include three elements: a supporting structure in lead-coloured brushed steel with T-section, a large surface ranging from 2.66 to approximately 7 metres with finishes in wood and Pelle Frau® leather, and a wooden column, also a distinctive element of the desks, which conceals electric cables.

The top of the Jobs Meeting Table is made up of rectangular tiles in Pelle Frau ® leather and a central cable tidy panel in wood or leather. Thanks to a highly detailed design, the surface, if viewed side-on, is slightly set back and reveals the detail of the leather that upholsters the surface and sides. The structure has a cable management column in MDF with Lead or Tobacco oak veneer with glossy finish. The top is made of MDF covered with Pelle Frau® leather. The cable tidy door is available with Lead or Tobacco oak veneer with matt finish or upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather.

The Jobs Meeting Tables are available in three Hardware versions that can be furnished in different ways to accommodate electrical cables: the Hardware version with central panels is equipped with a cable passageway in perforated sheet metal and painted black. The Hardware version with central panels and cableways has a series of metal cable tidies inserted in the centre of each central panel and also available in the version painted black. The Hardware version with doors comes with doors that can be used to access an internal compartment equipped with a cable tidy or arranged in a different way with electric devices supplied and purchased by the customer. The ‘President area’ is on one of the two shorter sides of the tables. The central panel is upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather, while the two lateral panels have a Lead or Tobacco oak veneer with matt finish and are upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. Hardware Jobs Meeting Tables longer than 412 cm can be equipped with an additional cable management column.
