Since 1925, the first pieces of furniture to leave Pietro Turri’s shop were immediately identified for their quality. The Blues Sofa, designed by Giuseppe Viganò for Turri, is but the first of many pieces of furniture with a remarkably strong contemporary style. An extraordinary example of true craftsmanship and attention to design, it is the first modular and sectional sofa to become part of the company’s catalogue. Thanks to an ample choice of modules, starting from the central ones up to the end pieces and the chaise longue, including the corner units and the poufs, the modular compositions are several and satisfy most requirements. Even as a single piece, the sofa is outstanding for its minimalist design and at the same time for the richness of its details—the walnut wood base, linear and uniform, is supported by tubular metal legs.
