Sans Souci launches statement light – Haida, designed by Tomas Sakra
Czech decorative lighting fixtures company brings Haida to India
Known for combining dexterity and design, Sans Souci, the Czech designer and producer of decorative lighting fixtures, glass objects and architectural features, is here to fill Indian homes with the dynamic beauty of glass and crystal. Following in their tradition of offering innovative luxury interior decoration features and light fixtures, the brand launches yet another exquisite creation, Haida.
Designed by Tomas Sakra, Haida is a collection of elegantly-shaped hand-blown crystal components with an LED chip light source. Resembling water droplets, these crystal components come together in an attractive formation that signifies beauty and peace. Haida is a work of art that lights up the surroundings with its serenity and timeless workmanship.
Haida is the former name for NovýBor, the region where Sans Souci’s unique objects are born. The extraordinary piece shines with meticulous craftsmanship of glass-blowers with the unconventional print of nature from the place where Sans Souci was born. Each bulb represents an impression of a basalt stone, carefully imprinted with brass or decorated with a soda effect. This imposing return to Nature symbolises roughness of North Bohemian nature, but also the soft lightness of glass art.
About Sans Souci:
The brand carries out grand, unique projects focusing on light objects, exclusive light fixtures and luxury interior decoration features. Its speciality is original architectural features, such as railings, stairways, tables, skylights, columns, etc. What characterises them is a high proportion of manufacture with emphasis on precision and detail.
