Sanjyt Syngh unveils Show-Stopper Bedrooms

A bedroom is not just about a bed, believes the Delhi-based interior designer and stylist who puts a lot of thought into the elements that add up to each bespoke restful space

Delhi-based interior designer and stylist Sanjyt Syngh, known for his bold and creative ideas, has unveiled luxury bedrooms that - apart from stunning you with their unique interiors - offer several smart features. They are scintillating, soothing and brimming with style and sophistication.

“A bedroom isn’t just about a bed. It’s a key space in a home that must be designed with lot of thought. Many diverse elements are put together to create a show-stopping bedroom. We treat each space with loads of love and details. We even need to consider the height of the person using the bed,” says Syngh. No wonder, the bespoke bedrooms captivate you with their unique aesthetics.

The predominantly grey palette of the Luxury Penthouse Bedroom shimmers with tonal and textural variations, while the cushions add colour and the striped upholstery of the chairs adds patterns. A fabric-clad headboard offers an elegant backdrop.

In the Bespoke Penthouse Bedroom, a chevron pattern carpet holds together several chic and sophisticated elements. The colourscape spans from shades of grey to black, with pops of bright spots in the form of shimmery cushions. The headboard is elaborately designed with padding, resulting in an interesting feature wall.

The focus is on the walls behind the bed. The broad headboard shave lights fitted into them and the wall claddings add another dimension to the designscape. “Wallpaper, wall paneling that could vary from wood, to leather or metal add layers of interest,” says the designer.

And of course, a heavenly night’s sleep is further ensured with premium beds, indulgent bedding solutions from cushions to bedsheets in high thread count, and throws. Combined in layers, they enhance the feeling of luxury.

The bedrooms are fitted with smart automation that can control the lighting design solutions and air-conditioning from the phone. “Automation allows you to turn on your air-conditioning even when before you reach home.”

Syngh offers mechanisms for your television sets too. “We can make custom fixtures where the television, when not in use, can hide inside the ceiling or a console unit.”
