The brief caters to two bedrooms, living & dining, and a kitchen. The designers believe neutral tones are one of the best ways to keep the home looking tasteful and elegant. This home dwells in the tones of browns, whites, and beiges with gold & pastel green accents.
Easily European
The space is designed in such a way with neutral-toned walls, and the interplay of textures, arts, and lights. Moving around the space, Ganesh Ji is placed exactly at the entrance and rests on a classic black & mapa console along with the moulding, mirror and ceramics details on the wall besides. A double-height sky lit living room makes a catchy entrance foyer. Taking a hint from the Europeans, mouldings are used in the living room, dining room, and bedrooms. The kitchen blends in the tone of beige with white mosaic accent tiles.
Adding accents
White wooden panel doors, seamless Italian flooring, off white walls and off white & ash-wood furniture. An accent wine chair and rug is added in the living room to bring in the vibrancy to the entire space. A set of black & white chairs along with a classic black chandelier are placed in the sky light area along with a beautiful Mandir.
Utmost attention is paid to all the details. There is a sense of togetherness and warmth that comes with this hue making it ideal for relaxation. The dining space has a huge sage green wall with black & grey bar unit and dining chairs made in shade of tan with ash wood legs complimenting the entire space.
Nesting in warmth
The master bedroom & the daughter’s bedroom are kept neutral toned. Colours are added through the mode of soft furnishings and pastel green accent chairs. We opted for coloured subway tiles in both the washrooms and teakwood vanities.
To add a little bit of texture, wallpapers are used in the backdrop and broad daylight makes the space look warmer and bigger. A lot of vibrancy is added through the medium of curtains, carpets, artwork, and plants.
