Housing sixteen spacious rooms that ooze luxe appeal, a roof-top restaurant and a bar lounge, the G+4 building spans across 2,400 sq ft. The hotel’s structural framework was already finished when it was handed over to the designers, who were tasked with breathing distinct life into the spaces.
Regality conveyed through design details
Dheergarh strives to orchestrate an almost imperial experience for its visitors. Consequently, the designers draw inspiration from a palette of sophisticated Ottoman shades. A tasteful use of colour, texture, materials and forms convey lavishness. Handpicked collections from the owners who are collectors of arts and artifacts from around the world grace nooks and crannies. Cutting through this narrative of luxury, dashes of live greens add freshness.
A ectasy of colours
The impression of colours on the human psyche was one of the primary governing factors for the concept of this boutique hotel. Every zone features a characteristic hue, affording an instant visual identity. Abundant use of royal blue on accent walls pervades the spaces, and at night, the sky’s shade echoes that of the walls inside. The shade adds a coolness that juxtaposes beautifully against the warm tones of wood.
A vibrant menu of colours is used for the lounge and bar area, which craft a playful vibe that is in contrast with the elegantly understated ambience of the rest of the hotel. Here, warm, cozy finishes and soft, velvet materiality configure the rigid arrangement. The deep, bold tones with the metal accents exude drama, while evoking strength and power.
Framing rooftop vistas
With picturesque views of the Pichhola Lake and Sajjangarh Fort, this rooftop restaurant is the pièce de résistance of the design. A sleek and contemporary spiral staircase of metal leads to this space, while a wooden roof with curated lights and raw stone murals create an atmosphere completely different from the rest of the design.
