The architects aimed to rethink the original Russian bath traditions, combine elements of Russian wooden architecture with modern technologies and preserve the harmony of surrounding nature.
Aromatic fumes
The complex consists of the administrative building with a restaurant and a hotel and five bath houses of different sizes. Each bath house has a steam room with a wood-burning stove, a cold plunge tub, a room with aromatic herbs, and a SPA area for massage.
After bath the hotel’s guests can go to an outdoor wooden platform where a herbal barrel or a tub on a wood fire, a swimming pool, lounge chairs and a dining table are situated.
Variations in wood
For the construction of baths three types of wood were used: Karelian pine, Siberian pine and Siberian larch. Large panoramic windows built into the log walls offer beautiful river views. Almost all the windows in the administrative building are also panoramic, the floor is covered with solid ash, the wall decoration is divided into zones: logs, white paint and carved wooden panels.
Inclusively indoor
Different accents add uniqueness to the place: tables made of ancient bog-wood slabs, metal installations, paintings by the artist Andrey Remnev on the walls. The restaurant’s kitchen is open, and guests can watch the cooking process. The menu includes dishes made from local products.
