Sonal and Rahul Gore founded _OPOLIS, a multidisciplinary design practice, in January 2001. Combining their unique aesthetic sensibilities, technical expertise, creative instincts, and artistic vision, they have established _OPOLIS as one of the country’s leading design firms. Their work is supported by a team of skilled, dynamic, and dedicated professionals who bring innovative design solutions to life and Sonal and Rahul’s Associates, Deepak Vishwakarma and Aravindan Arunagiri play pivotal roles in the design journey.
Under the duo’s leadership, the firm takes pride in avoiding a signature style, instead believing that the most complex and beautiful solutions are often the simplest. Their commitment to balancing style with simplicity has led them to undertake a diverse range of architectural, interior, and urban projects.
Rahul earned his architecture degree from the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) in Ahmedabad and pursued a Master’s in Urban Design at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Sonal also studied architecture at CEPT and later obtained her Master’s degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles.
